The superintendents for all the school districts in Alameda County descended on Westlake today for a meeting about the budget cuts proposed by Governor Schwarzenegger. In the middle of their meeting they held a press conference in which our very own Mr. Karigaca and eighth grader Jabari Valentine spoke. Afterwards, the reporters stayed and interviewed Jabari and Priscilla, fresh off their experience at the Oratorical Fest last week. Make sure to watch the news tonight!
